What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen And Acid Reflux?
Thank you my husband is turning 60 in one month and went through an executive health tests at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale besides high cholesterol he got a pretty good bill of health. He does iron mans and is not overweight or un athletic. He is having a constant stomach ache, no nausea or throwing up. Just a lower pain in his stomach that won t go away and is causing heartburn too.
Generally, acid Reflux causes heartburn and pain in the upper abdomen but not in the lower abdomen. For heartburn you can take tablet pantoprazole once a day and syrup mucaine gel thrice a day for seven days. Along with that, you have to do some diet modification after consultation with the dietitian.
I want to ask whether lower abdomen pain is associated with fever or lose motion? As it is from last few days, so better you do ultrasound abdomen and consult with the physician with the report. If lower abdominal pain is spasmodic in nature, then you can take tablet cyclopam after physician consultation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale
