What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

Hi Doctor: I am 33 yr. old female and I noticed a purple bruise on my lower abdomen (about 4 in. long & about 2 in. below my belly button). It does not hurt & I did not bang myself anywhere. I've been feeling nauseous in the last week and I have some pain on my right side below my ribs. What could this be? I did some research online & everything keeps leading me towards abdominal aneurysm. I'm concerned.

Hi welcome to hcm
Your probem seems to be hemorrhagic pancreatitis as it leads to bruising in fascial planes of abdomen.Aneurysm will be less likely as it leads to intense cardiac pain, sudden collapse and lump abdomen.CT abdomen orMRI will clear all your doubts.consult your gastro enterologist for further queries.
Thankyou.
