What Causes Pain In The Lower Back Which Subsides After Walking For A While?

i am 75 when i get up in a morrning i have a pain bottom of my back when i walk arround about 30 minits or more it goes away and i dont feal it again till i get out of bed in the morrning i have had this for about a 12 to 14 days i can drop a sleep in the chair get up back ok

Hi,

The pain in the lower back you have might be related to arthritis. I suggest to do X-ray of the back and run blood analysis for arthritis to determine your current health problems and to prescribe specific treatment.

Meanwhile, I advise to:
- take pain-killers (ibuprofen, acetaminophen) to reduce the pain
- apply local analgesic cream
- apply warm clothing to the affected area (especially before going to sleep)
- do light exercises when you wake up in the morning.
