What Causes Pain In The Lower Right Side Of The Bladder Area?

For the past year and a half i have been having a weird pain in the lower right side of my bladder area. when this happens it hurts to walk,sit, and lay on my back, i have to lay on my side to sleep or it will hurt. i thought i pulled a muscle but i get this pain every month but only once a month and it's been happening for the past year and a half. also the pain lasts a week when i get it. what is it?

if the pain is associated with vomiting, fever, burning micturation, I would suggest you to undergo a routine urine analysis and an usg abdomen
