General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi i do care for your concern.
First of all doing some good exercise is always a best thing to do.
It is advisable to to undergo further confirmation of disc protrusion and to know whether any nerve compression or compromised blood supply is there or not.
It is advisable to consult with you physician first.
Getting physiotherapy along with neck bank and proper and regular guided exercise will help you a lot.
hope your condition resolves soon.
Hope i have answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask.
Thank you.
I find this answer helpful
