Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain In The Neck, Fatigue And Headache?
I have been having a dull neck ache on the right side for 4 days now. Plus surface skin sensitivity in the same area on my neck and under my left arm. Plus a minor headache and fatigue. 3 Advil twice a day has helped with the pain, but it s getting increasingly more uncomfortable. Feeling a little feverish, but no fever. I m a 43 year old white female, 5 4 at 210 lbs. Overweight but in relatively good health. Not on any meds other than Advil. Thanks in advance for your input.
The symptoms guides towards the cervical Radiculopathy. An MRI is suggested. I'm cervical Radiculopathy there is nerve root entrapment due to which the neck may get spasm, pain, tingling, burning, etc.
For now - continue the medicine, do hot water fermentation, use the cervical soft collar to stabilize the spine, simple static neck exercises, shoulder stabilization exercises, gentle kneading massage for Trapezius and inter-scapular muscles, strengthening exercises for the interscapular muscles.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
