Over the last week or so I have been experiencing a dull pain (off and on) on the left side of the front of my neck. The pain sometimes is also protrudes down into my chest. When this occurs I am usually also experiencing either mild sweating or cold clammy feeling to my skin. The pain does not last long, but I m still somewhat concerned.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Pain in front of neck radiating to chest with sweating/cold clammy skin can be - Esophagitis with nervous psychology or heart pain. When it follows physical/psychological stress, it is assocated with high blood pressure /palpitation ( fast heart beat )/ diabetes. Consult a physician for exact diagnosis and specific treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
