my daughter has a urinary tracck infection. She is having a slight pain on one side of her neck that occurs only when she presses on it. There are several kids that have the mumps at her college and she is worrying that this may be the beginning of the symptoms for the mumps. She has no other symptons. Hi,

Urinary tract infection and neck pain not associated with each other. The pain inside of the neck is not suggestive of mumps.

It could be muscle strain or reactive enlarged lymph nodes. You can Consult her to the paediatrician for detailed evaluation.
