I have had this pain In my nose for over three weeks now. I have been to a walk in clinic and the doctor said I have a sinus infection. After one more week the pain got worse. I went to the emergency room and they also said I have a sinus infection. I have had bit ting sensations in my nose and left ears. I have picked my nose and got out black specs . I feEl as if there is a fly moving in my nose . I hear buzzing. I have tried garlic to get the bug lose and that has not worked. My mother doesn t believe me that their could be a small bug in my ear. Can you possibly help me as to what u should do ?
Your symptoms seem to be related to a sinus infection. In my daily practice I recommend a complete blood count and a sinus X-ray to confirm the diagnosis.
The treatment consists in anti inflammatory medication to relieve the pain. Antibiotics may be needed if the diagnosis is confirmed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
