What Causes Pain In The Vagina During Pregnancy?

My daughter is 35 weeks pregnant and last night she experienced shooting pain through her vagina off and on for 45 minutes. She said it was quite sharp and lasted a few minutes but then disappeared. This is her second child so she knows what labor pain feels like.

Hi I think if she is having pain, she should consult her doctor. Get a complete examination done. If she is also having frequent urination or burning in urine, it can be due to some urine infections. Get a urine routine and microscopy and culture done to see if there is any infection. Hope it helps.
