What Causes Pain In Wrist And Shoulder With History Of Having Wrist Bone Dislocation?

Hi 12 years back my wrist bones got dislocated, i just treated it for the swellings, and later was adviced to get it treated, but i ignored it feeling that its cured, but i used to feel pain in my wrists, when lifting weights, applying pressure to that hand, now after 12 years im having weird pain that travels to my entire arm and shoulders, and when i move my fingers i feel quite some pain, is it bad

Hi.

I would first recommend an xray of your wrists to assess the current state, based on which treatment will be advised. But what you can do right now is usr an elastic bandage to keep the wrist is a healthy and partially immobilized state, ice pack to the region, rest the wrist and use a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (e.g. ibuprofen) which should help get you a little more comfortable. Visit an orthopedician for further management.
