What Causes Pain Near End Of Rib Cage?

I'm 25 years old, 6'4.5", 240lbs. I've been having chronic chest pain primarily located near the termination of my rib cage though occasionally it is higher up. The pain occurs on one or both sides--currently it is located on my left side. Generally, I get relief when I stretch, leaving me to believe that it is caused by poor posture. I have been actively working on improving my posture, but I still experience pain. I also have recently changed my diet (within the last month)--I have eliminated most artificial sugars from my diet. I have been experiencing fewer days of pain, and experience pain when I do have foods with a high concentration of sugar. I'm not quite sure if there is a correlation. My heart rate right now is at about 66 bpm and it "feels" normal which leads me to believe that this isn't a cardiovascular problem.
