The pain is if I have a 1000 + needles stabbing into the front of my thigh. I have a numbness on the outside of the same thigh. Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

These sensations are neurogenic pain. There may be imbalance of blood glucose level which may be cause for this.High blood glucose may lead to neuropathies.

I shall advise you to check blood glucose level frequently.

If it is normal then you should consult to a neurophysician for help.Meanwhile you may have acetaminophen preparation for relief.

In our routine outdoor practice for relief of such pain i used to prescribe pregabalin preparations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mukesh Tiwari
