What Causes Pain On Face Between The Ear And Throat?

Hi I had an ear bud stuck in my ear however when I went to A&E they said there was nothing in my ear! Now my face on that side between the ear and throat is in pain for months, yet when I have been to the GP they say there is no infection and nothing in there!

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
You have a history of ear bud stuck in the ear followed by pain from the ear to the neck.
Since you have already seen by GP and Doctors at A and E have said there is nothing inside, the most probable cause of your persistent pain for months is due to Trigeminal neuralgia.
Consult a Neurologist and/or an ENT Surgeon to have clinical evaluation and investigations like MRI and get started with medicines to sooth the nerves.
I find this answer helpful
