What Causes Pain On Left Side Of Ribs In A Diabetic And BP Patient?

HI. I am a 46 year old woman. Diabetic, hypertensive, not on meds. I am experiencing a sometimes sharp pain on my left side by my ribs. Lately everything I eat gives me heartburn. If I eat red meat I get diarrhea. (cut it down to once a week) Just before my periods the pain, gas, and heartburn are more severe. I have a very busy lifestyle, lots of stress. So although I'm overweight, my job requires me to stand and walk for 7 to 8 hrs. a day. Can you give me a little insight to what this may be?

avoid alcohol,colas,junk food,coffee,smoking.
take fresh fruits
do swimming,cycling.
risk factors are
hypertention.
diabetes .
obesity.
near menopause.
busy life style.
consult doctor.he will order for gastric endoscopy,
ecg,lipid profile ,thyroid profile ,x-ray chest.
take it seriously.
