What Causes Pain On Throat Along With Body Aches And Chills?
I have been having pain on the outter glands of my throat. I get body ache and chills along with sweating. My doctor has put me on Amoxcillin and it doesn t seem to be helping. I did blood test and everything came normal. I am worried and confused !
As per your query you have symptoms of pain and sweating along the throat which could be due to lymph node enlargement or granular pharyngitis. Lymph node enlargement is most commonly due to infection or inflammation. Feeling of pain in throat requires a clinical assessment of the throat. You should avoid intake of outside food and keep sipping warm water. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined properly. You should get blood and throat swab test done. Till then take proper course of antibiotics to subside infection if any and drink plenty of fluids and water to keep yourself hydrated.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
