What Causes Painful Boil On Skin While Having Fibromyalgia And Eczema?
Hi DR Andrew. I have a boil that popped up on my skin overnight. I have a few autoimmune diseases such as Fibromyalgia , undifferentiated connective tissue disease, eczema, psoriasis and Rheumatoid and Psoriasis arthritis. Can any of those be the cause of my Painful boil? Its the size of a dime. Should i see my Rhemy or Dermatologist?

Hi,
From history it seems that due to having eczema on the part and due to itching there might be having some bacterial infection leading to boil formation giving this problem.
Clean the part with antiseptic lotion and apply antibiotic cream.
clean the pus and go for dressing.
If there is itching take cetrizine as needed.
Ok and take care.
