What Causes Painful Bumps Under The Tongue After A Fever?

Two days ago My two yr. Old had a fever seizure. . But doctors could not give a reason why he was having the fever.. I was advised to give him Tylenol and motrin.. but it seems like the medicine is not doin much.. sometimes his body isnt hot at all but his breath is burning hot.. and this morning he was complaining about his mouth so I had him show my wat looks much like a blister on the corner of his lip (inside) and also noticed something white on the right side of his tongue. . I asked him to lift up his toungue ant seen alot of little bumps all over the bottom part of his toungue.. he is not having any trouble eatin or drinking.. my question is "what are this bumps? Why did he get them?

Hai... The little bumps at quite normal finding. You need not worry about fever of less than 5 days if the kid is active when there's no fever. I suggest you keep nasal midazolam nasal spray at home in case of an emergency. Kindly approach your dr regarding this. Happy to help anytime. If you are happy with my reply, kindly rate it.
