What Causes Painful Fissures Along With Abdominal Bloating And Hard Stools?
hi doc... i have fissure problem since a week now... initially it bleeded but now it pains if i put pressure while passing stool.. my office doctor suggested me to take gutclear syrup and rablet 20 tablets but they are hardly of any help as my stools are not yet that smooth.. also i take 3-4 times dosage of carmicide syrup but still no better results. my stomach is bloated and hard. i do sit up baths and drink lots of water but they are just temporary relief. pls help...
You will have to combine lifestyle changes with laxatives. Take food rich in fiber, stay well hydrated, avoid being sedentary, do regular exercises, avoid food that is hard to digest( cut on red meat, paneer, cheese, junk food, oily food).
Take Bisacodyl (Dulcolax), castor oil before bedtime. You can also take bulk-forming laxatives (Methylcellulose-Citrucel), stool softeners like Colace.
Maintain healthy weight per BMI. Once you lose weight & restrict taking oily food your fissure will reduce showing symptoms that cause you discomfort.
Do take a sitz bath. Maintain hygiene. Get physically examined by a GP in case you need surgery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
