What Causes Painful Fit Of Coughing While Cooking Liver?
was cooking liver for dinner and the smell made me start coughing, it was not burning there was little or no smoke, it felt deep in my lungs and was painful. never had this reaction before I like live and have cooked it many many times before. guess I just want to know what caused this type of reaction?

The cough developed could be due to reactive airway.Any irritation in the respiratory tree can cause Bronchospasm (construction of small airways)
Cough is the first sign of airway irritation .
Sometimes it will be relieved by its own or will have to give some inhalers.
Anti-allergic tablets can help in this situation....
Some of the ingredients must have caused the irritation....
Next time try to wear a mask while preparing the food.....
