What Do Raised Bumps On Back Of Tongue With Burning Be Due To Acid Reflux?
hello doc have a question i have few raised bumps on back of tounge acompied with burn when smoke just startd today i thin ihope it circumvalatte pap had a root canal two weeks ago also have history of acid reflux aburps with acid not alot of an over past two weeks i quit smoking today im freaked out please help
As per your complain swollen bumps at the back of your tongue seems to be due to inflammation caused by heat and chemicals present in cigarette smoke, it can also be due to acid reflux causing chemical injury.. You should immediately stop smoking as well as if you have acid reflux you should take antacids and dietary modifications.. For swollen papillae do warm saline gargles, sod-bicarb gargles can also relieve. Gargle with cold water and suck ice pops. You can also take anti-inflammatory medicines like Ibuprofen.. Avoid spicy food..
