General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Since you have already been diagnosed to have uterine fibroids, it is most probable that it is the reason behind abdominal pain. They grow with time and extend further into the tissues. So I suggest you to get a USG done and know the present condition of fibroids. Sometimes the fibroids are small and resolves by themselves. But in certain cases they do grow and cause troubles like pain and infertility. Do not worry madam, go ahead with your appointment. Its not emergency situation, but a problem that has to be attended to secure our health. It is a common condition seen in women now a days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suhas Chauhan
