What Causes Painful Red Lump On The Temple With Tingling Sensation?

I have a hard red lump by my right temple. I have many different health issues. One of them is a antiphospholipid syndrome and I m worried as the lump just appeared. I also have red lines on my face and numbness and tingling along with pain associated with the pretty large lump. What could cause this? My husband wants to rush me to the hospital and I m not sure if I should go or not.

Hi.

Noted your history of hard red lump on right temple along with numbness and tingling and pain, has antiphospholipid syndrome, red lines on face, husband wants you to be rushed to hospital.
Yes, this may be an urgent thing as such occurrence at important structures like oral cavity, tongue and pharynx can be life threatening.
The commonest causes I can think about are one of the following:
Angioneurotic edema lump which you itched or scratched.
Hematological disorders for which bleeding time, clotting time, prothrombine time and liver function tests should be done.
Clinical evaluation by a Doctor may give instant diagnosis hence rush to the hospital.
