Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCAREMAGIC..

As per your complain painful swollen glands under the jaw, swollen lymph nodes and swollen sore throat seems to be most probably due to infection in throat that can be due to bacterial or viral infection in throat..

You need to consult an Otorhinolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like throat swab culture and laryngoscopy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised:
-Antibiotics like Augmentin OR Azithromycin to resolve the infection..
-Anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen can be taken to relive pain. -----Doing warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and using a humidifier in your room can be very much relieving.
-You can also suck throat lozenges to soothe the throat..
-Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
-Gargle with antiseptic solution like few drops of betadine in water..
-Chew Vitamin C pellets to boost up the immunity..
-Avoid spicy and chilled foods..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
