What Causes Painful Swollen Nodes On Neck?

Hi I have swollen nodes on the right side of my neck, just above collar bone. Initially on doctor's suggestion I have taken antibiotics (augmentin 650mg) but no effect. Then he suggested me to get FNAC and few blood test done, all the reports were negative so he gave me sapphire for a 1 week and then asked to show again in a months time. However the node had not subside but after FNAC I have seen multiple nodes and the pain have slightly increased. It is totally bearable and more like the pain you will feel if you have lifted some heavy stuff.

After ultrasound the doctor said chances of Kochs are high so I have taken TBPCR test but the report is negative. Doctor is suggesting biopsy while my family physician has recommended to get repeat FNAC done.

My worry is not about the result positive or negative all these reports and everything is taking time and I am off any medicine from almost 45 days. I have observed few new nodes in the area and worried that not taking any medicine should not harm me more. Both doctors said they will prescribe medicine after getting reports.
