Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi! My 2 year old has what I first thought was a bruise on his back to the left of the spine. It s about 3 to 4 inches long and about 2 inches wide. It never turned typical bruise colors and it isn t dark enough to look like a café au lait type of birthmark. It is not painful to the touch and it s been present now for about 2 months. Should I take him to have it checked out?
if the lesion is increasing in size and becoming darker the a clinical examination is called for. yes you should fix an appointment and let your doctor know about this. don't apply any creams n home remedies on the lesion, just keep it clean
