What Causes Palpitations And Can Thyroid Cause Hematuria?
i am 45 years old female.have had heart palpitations for years.had many tests all was within normal range.had all kinds of blood work.all showed okay,including thyroid blood tests.
could there still be a thyroid problem just not showing up on blood work?
also can a thyroid problem cause hematuria?

HI Thanks for posting your query to Healthcaremagic.
It is very unlikely for Thyroid problem to cause hematuria . We need to do certain test to find out why you are having Hematuria. I would advise you to get Urine Microscopy test , Platelet count , PT, aPTT , INR , Ultrasound Abdomen Pelvis tests and revert back to me .
Now coming to Palpitation it can be caused due to problems in heart or problems outside heart . If you have any sort of anxiety you better consult a Psychiatrist as Anxiety is a very common cause of Palpitation.
In case there is no anxiety then we need to do further testing to find the cause for your Palpitations . So if you can upload all the test reports done for the evaluation of Palpitation , I can go through it and advise what else has to be done .
