sir, i am a male of 40 years . iam a patitent of high chl and tg.since 6 year. i am on medicine stator 10 an fibrofen. since last 6 month i am suffering from palpitation. holter monitoring shows occasional isolated supraventricular ectopics with frequent tachycardia . rest within normal limits. since 6 days palpitation is going on for 24 hour a day which increases during rest. please advice.
Dear, there is a wide variety of causes of palpitations right from benign to some rare life threatening causes. First you need to give little more details of your palpitations, like if they start and stop suddenly, any associated giddiness or loss of consciousness. Regarding tachycardia that was detected on holter monitoring, please specify the kind of tachycardia. Also the holter will detect the cause of your palpitations only if you get palpitations while the holter is attached to you. But going through the details of your case, it seems you have nonspecific palpitations which may be anxiety related. So just relax and send the details required for the more detailed evaluation.
