What Causes Panic Attacks, Trouble Breathing And Pain In Chest?
Hi. I am 27 years old ever since I was 22 one night I had a panic attack and ever since i sometimes have trouble breathing and my left side of my chest hurts and it feels like my heart is aching and heavy.. I have been to doctor after doctor and they say it is depression and anxiety. I take depression and anxiety medicaton and it works sometimes. I still sometimes have my moments. I will have good days and bad days. The heart dr did a ultrasound and I wore a heart monitor and they did not find anything. Why would this be happening? I do smoke.
You have anxiety disorder. In that case, you need continuous treatment with antidepressant with low dose benzodiazepine. Antidepressant would help to control these symptoms and benzodiazepine would help to get immediate relief. You can also try some relaxation exercise like JPMR or deep breathing exercise. Better to consult a psychiatrist for proper management. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
Thanks
