General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of surgery for herniated discs at C 5, 6 and 7.
Loosing the voice is a know complication that can occur as the recurrent laryngeal nerves are injured during this procedure.
With the advent of recent advances even in ENT that you can consult an ENT Surgeon who is working in the area of phonetics and laryngeal field to have corrective surgery and go for voice training under the care of a professions speech therapist.
You will be definitely improved.
