What Causes Peeling Gums Around Molars Post Wisdom Teeth Extraction?
I just got all four wisdom teeth removed. Now, my right bottom molars have the gums peeling from the teeth. I've never had this before and I always floss, what could have caused it? Is there anyway to treat/repair it until the dentist office can see me?
So sorry to hear about your problem and will try my level best to resolve it..
As per your complain peeling of gums from the teeth can be due to gum recession caused due to infected gums while it can also be due to separation of gums from the teeth adjacent to wisdom tooth as gum elevation is done till the adjacent molars to provide proper access an ease for removing the tooth.. The exact cause is first needed to be understood for advising the treatment.. So consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.. As of now gargle with antiseptic mouthwash to prevent infection. Do warm saline gargles.. Take soft diet..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
