Hello, my son is 5 yrs old and he is saying that his penis hurts when he pees.. I looked at his penis and there is a flesh colored bump next to his pee hole.. It almost reminds me of a blister.. He said that it started to hurt him right after we got back from the beach..

I warmly Welcome you!

It seems to be the Urinary tract infection that has caused him the painful urination. An other option is that he has got local irritation of the skin on glans penis.

Apply ProCort Topical Ointment on the lesion that you see on his penis. Also you need to consult a Pediatrician or a Urologist for treatment of urinary infection if any. He will do a Urine complete evaluation and culture and sensitivity test. Then according to the causative agent he may be started with proper antibiotics if needed.

Hope it helps. Feel free to contact me anytime directly from my profile if you need further assistance.

Regards!
