What Causes Peripheral Neuropathy And Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome?
I am a type 1 diabetic who has also been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy and polycystic ovarian syndrome. About a week ago, I had an itch in my belly button and when I went to scratch it, discovered some nasty crusty gunk inside it. I scraped all of the gunk out with my fingernail and afterward, my belly button looked bright red (inflamed) & looked shiny. It also felt slick, or wet, but no blood was present. I thought maybe I had an infected belly button, so I immediately began a 4xdaily regimen of boiling my belly button out with peroxide, followed by alcohol, & ending with Neosporin. My belly button isn t nearly as red and inflamed looking, but for the last 2 days I ve felt weak, fatigued, like I m running a fever, & every time I urinate, it feels like there is a string attached from my belly button to my bladder on the inside and that said string is being pulled. I am well aware what a urinary tract infection feels like, as I get them often, and everything about what I ve been experiencing feels very different from my usual urinary tract infection symptoms. What should I do to feel better?
