What Causes Peripheral Neuropathy With Proprioception And Loss Of Sensation?
I have axon injury outside the CNS. Injury is most likely due to B-cell lymphoma (now in remission) or results of chemo (high dose methotrexate, Temodar, et.al.). Symptoms are peripheral neuropathy loss of sensation and proprioception. I am not yet seeking pain relief. I would like to know what can be done to restore sensation and proprioception.

What Causes Peripheral Neuropathy With Proprioception And Loss Of Sensation?
Hello, Complete recovery is difficult. Drugs like VitaminB12 can provide symptomatic relief. If a particular segment of the nerve is affected, grafting or repair can be attempted. Consult a neurologist and he will direct you accordingly. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
