Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Persistent Cold Sweats, Headache, Throat Pain And Fatigue?
For two weeks now I have had the following symptoms intermittently. Brief cold sweats, mild lingering headache, pain in throat, exceptional fatigue, lack of energy. I am a 66 yr old woman with no serious health issues. I stay very active with the care of two grandchildren and a garden that feeds us....
I read your message carefully and understood your concern.
It seems that you have flue. Headache, fatigue, weakness, sore throat are just common symptoms of ordinary flu.
I am happy to read that you are a quite active human. This will help you recover fast from flu and maintain a good generally health.
Keep taking care of yourself by treating seriously all your medical issues both serious and no serious ones.
During this time, in order to recover fast try to take plenty fluids: tea, fruit juice or just water. Add chicken soup to your diet and lemons. Take over the counter drugs like paracetamol to relief your flu symptoms.
Hope this was helpful for you.
Good luck to you and your grandchildren. Dr.Albana
