What Causes Persistent Cough Along With Chest Pain?

I have had a cough now for over 3weeks. It is not there all the time. Persistent flegm in mornings which is difficult to shift. This also is present now throughout the day. I have also had chest pains. They only last short while. In last 3 weeks probably 4times.

are you from developing country like India?
if so then do TB TESTS. orelse are u having breathelessness if so it might be a cardiac problem.
