What Causes Persistent Diarrhea, Vomiting, Nausea And Abdominal Pain?

I started with diarrhea and vomiting Monday (5 days ago)...thought I was feeling better then Tuesday afternoon projectile vomiting and diarrhea continued...diarrhea Wed and thur...nausea this whole week...pain/pressure in Right groin area...R abdominal area. Went to walk in on Thursday..they gave me med to help with nausea..but pressure in abdomen and groin area..along with nausea continue. I have not had diarrhea since Thursday however I haven t had a BM...last regular BM was a week ago. I was thinking of going to ER...I m exhausted and don t feel well...any ideas of what this might be?

Going through your history clearly shows that you are having gastro-entritis.
Infection increases the peristalsis and also cause reverse peristalsis for expulsion of the infective foodstuff. In doing so body loses lot of water and finally become dehydrated. That explains your symptoms very well.
I would recommend you to for following
1. rehydrate your body with oral fluids (ORS). If vomiting persists then have it in sips. still a problem then visit ER for an IV fluid.
2. start with antibiotics (broad spectrum) likely ofloxacin+ ornidazole.
3. reestablish your gut flora by comsumption of curd, yogurt or tablet sporlac with lactic acid bacillus.
4. take an anti pyretic for fever like paracetamol
5. complete your antibiotic course of 5 to 7 days.

If no improvement in general condition or detoriation. Please consult a physician soon.
