hello I have the symptoms of an earache have been to the doctor who says that the ear is clear and there is no discharge she diagnosed me with temporomandibular joint disfunction and prescribed me with brufen. Thipe s was 4 days ago I still feel pain and I am getting a bit of dizziness which I have nt experienced before and I have nevered suffered from an earache or this type of pain. Can you help?
Hi. Thanks for your query. One of the reasons for so-called pain in the ear is TM Joint arthralgia. Since your Doctor has seen and diagnosed this, you will have to believe this. The TMJA and the Brufen together can make you feel dizzy. Get examined by an ENT to see whether this is real vertigo or just a feeling of it. And get treated accordingly.
