What Causes Persistent Eye Watering And Nasal Congestion?

My eyes have been watering since the past 10 days. Sometimes it is the right eye and at times the left. No redness,pain or itching but there is sensitivity to light. I am using advanced eye relief by bausch and lomb 2-3 times a day since the past 2 days. Along with that, I am getting a runny nose. Not sure whats going on. Please advise

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that watering from eyes, sensitivity to like and runny nose since last 10 days is an indication that you are suffering from Allergic Reaction to some unknown allergen..

It can be due to allergens like Pollen, animal danders, mold, certain trees and grasses, dust etc..

You should consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Prick test, Patch test, RAST test, food challenge test etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

In case if allergy is confirmed you can be advised anti allergics like Levocetrizine or Allegra along with decongestant nasal spray and steroid nasal sprays..
Avoid exposure to allergen once it is ruled out..

You can also be instilled Immunotherapy to reduce severity and frequency of allergic symptoms..
