General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Generally, the symptoms of AIDS are related to opportunistic diseases including pneumonia the patient is having. I need to get reviewed all her blood tests results to understand the white blood count and platelet levels.

Persistent fever and weight loss might be also related to other diseases such as tuberculosis, that's why related tests should be carried out. So, the symptoms might be related to other illnesses, that's why should carry out further diagnostic tests.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
