What Causes Persistent Headache,cough And Nasal Congestion Inspite Of Taking Ibuprofen?
I m pretty sure I have a flu of some sort: headache, bronchial cough, body aches, nose congestion and a slight temp. Started Saturday a.m. and it has gotten progressively worse with the temp developing today, Monday. Getting plenty of bed rest. Drinking a lot of fluids. Took some alka seltzer cold and ibuprofen but not sure they are doing much good. I am 68 and fit at 125 lbs and in good health. Just wait it out????

The symptoms seem to be related to a flu. I recommend using anti inflammatory medication such as Acetaminophen. I also suggest resting and drinking liquids.
