Hello,

As you already consulted with pediatrician and also taking medications and antibiotics. But still fever not reducing, I will suggest you to do blood investigations like complete hemogram, Urine analysis, and peripheral smear for malarial parasite after consultation.

Sometimes, viral fever takes 2 to 3 days to cure. During this time, you can do cold sponging. Keep your child well hydrated, maintain proper hygiene and give feeding on time.

I will suggest you to review here with detailed history and reports or consult with the pediatrician as advised with reports.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale
