my child have fever for past two days we suggested our doctors and give paracetamol and meftol. but fever didnt reduced. now we check with other hospital. they told it may be a brain fever. it is any dangerous? sir brain fever is curable?. my child is only 11 months baby
Brain fever means meningitis or encephalitis, which occurs due to inflammation and infection in brain or its covering membrane(meninges). It May occur due to bacterial and viral infection mainly and some other etiologies. If proper etiology is diagnosed by blood and csf examination and treated accordingly with relavent antibiotics then definitely it is curable. There no need to worry..Just concentrate on proper treatment and follow what your doctor says.
