General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.

Noted your short history of vertigo and a steroid shot given by an intern.
Since there is rotatory symptom I would advise you the following:
Consult a Neurologist or an ENT Surgeon for proper clinical evaluation of the symptoms of Vertigo.
This will guide for proper clinical workup, tests of blood and so on, MRI of the cervical spine/Brain/Mastoids as would be necessary to get to the cause of it.
Once a proper diagnosis is done the treatment would be specific.
You will be given proper anti-vertigo medicine like Cinnarizine, supportive management and multivitamins, minerals and trace elements supplements.
Specific treatment is possible only on getting to know the exact cause like if there is vertebral insufficiency, problems with cerebellum or internal ear. This needs a combined approach by various Specialists.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
