What Causes Persistent Itching Upon Placement Of A Pacemaker?
My boyfriend had a pacemaker put in a couple of months ago but started itching after surgery and it has gotten worse day by day took him to clinic yesterday and they gave him benadryl till wens so we can see the heart doc on wens but he is itching bad what can I do

The itching can be due to thickening of the operation scar... induced by itching the scar(keloid)... it maks the scar thickened.
Benadril may not affect the itching..local steroid cream can help befire yiu see your cardiac doctor.
