What Causes Persistent Low Grade Fever Post Treatment For Typhoid?
I have typhoid fever and it was dignosed after 1 week. During this time period my fever never rose from 100 degree centigrade. Now i have completed my course n also done vaccination of typhoid. But still i got fever some times n reading would be again never rose from 100 degree centigrade.. my temperature is constant at 99. Kindly guide me.
Hi I would say a temperature of 99F can fall under normal temperature limits. An AM temperature of >98.9F or PM temperature of >99.9F is usually considered as fever. If your range is above this limit or you are facing symptoms of fever, you can go for additional investigations. Initially you need to get antibody tests for typhoid. And then proceed to other investigations as needed. I hope the above information helps you. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Have a nice day.
