Main cause for gastric pain is
gastritis or GERD (gastro oesophagial reflux disease - contents of stomach comes back to oesophagus resulting in pain)
Gastritis can be treated by following
- East less spicy food
- Add plenty of fruits and cooked vegetables to the diet
- drink tender coconut
- eat curds and drink butter milk daily
- do
meditation as per your age (for eg if your age is 45 than 45 minutes of meditation is recommended) this will relieve
stress (as stress causes gastritis)
- do exercise for 30-45 minutes in a day for atleast 5-6 days a week
- Eat banana regularly after food
- some laxatives (eg Dulcalox) can be tried out which will easen the burps/
bloating If I were your treating doctor would have advised
Ranitidine 150 mg thrice daily half an hour before food
Do not go to sleep in the night until you do a relaxed walk for 10-15 minutes after the food this will give a great relief from the stomach contents reflux
