General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It may be due to overstretching of muscles of arm or shoulder joint so that your above head movement, flexion or abduction of shoulder joint has become painful.
There may be also possibility of overstreching of tendon inserting at shoulder joint.
Even X- ray of local part shows nothing but MRI of shoulder joint with right arm will give some clue.
You give rest or do restricted movements which are painful and by this way you will allow the muscle or tendon to heal completely with warm compression, vitamin B complex- folic acid daily with balanced diet for at least 10 to 15 days.
If problem persists then consult orthopedic surgeon.
