Hello,
As i am reading your query, i can feel you are worried. I am sorry and I will try my best to help you and find out what your granddaughter has.

You are telling me that your granddaughter is not constipated and Calpol ( paracetamol) did not help with her pain. Her pain is localized on the right side of the abdomen as is getting worse to the point that it hurts when she moves. She has lost her appetite as well.
All her symptoms lead to suspect for Acute Appendicitis.
I have seen many patients like your granddaughter in my clinic and if she was my patient i would have ordered:
1. Immediately an Abdominal US - in most cases that will give us the diagnosis
2. CBC - will show if an infection is developing
3. If her pain gets worse and I would have sent her to the ER for IV fluids , pain medications and monitoring her vital signs while finding out what is causing her pain.
3. A surgical consultation might be helpful

At this moment i would suggest you call your granddaughter's pediatrician and follow his orders. If you cannot reach her pediatrician call 911 or send your daughter to the ER.

I hope this is helpful and I have answered your question. Please let me know if i can assist you any further.

I also hope your granddaughter will feel better soon,

Kind regards,
