What Causes Persistent Swelling In The Groin Area Post Hydrocele Surgery?

Hi my 3 yrs old kid got operated for hydrocil but after surgery we did not find any difference its swollen and looking like a lump. But doctor is telling it takes three months to come back to normal.is it the case or whet else i can do.plz guide me.

Hi,

In case of persistent swelling, I would prefer getting a repeat ultrasound. But, if it is not enlarging and there is no pain, you can wait as per your doctor's advice.
